When using an iSV57T Series motor, if the provided software fails to connect to the motor properly, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Hardware Preparation
-
Make sure the motor is powered on and operating normally. The green indicator should remain steadily lit.
-
Use the dedicated debugging cable CABLE-PC-i(PJ) included with the motor.
-
If your PC does not have a built-in RS232 port and only provides USB ports, make sure the appropriate driver is installed when using an RS232-to-USB adapter. Otherwise, the computer may not recognize the adapter.
-
For best compatibility, we recommend using our dedicated C006 cable from the beginning, which can help avoid unnecessary cable compatibility and troubleshooting issues.

Software Check
- Use the latest official software, which can be downloaded from the product's Downloads section:
When installing the software, we recommend temporarily disabling antivirus or other security software, as it may incorrectly identify or interfere with the software files and cause installation or operation issues.
- Check that your PC is running an English version of Windows 10. Both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro have been tested and confirmed to be compatible. Other Windows versions may have compatibility issues, which could prevent the software from connecting to the motor properly.
Connection Procedure
After opening the software, the first step is to select the correct COM port.
Open Device Manager on your PC and locate Ports (COM & LPT). Check the COM port number shown for the connected adapter, and then select the corresponding COM port in the software.
This is one of the most common reasons why the software fails to connect to the motor.
Tip: If other USB-to-serial devices are connected near the USB port being used for the motor, we recommend disconnecting any unnecessary USB cables first. Multiple USB serial devices being used simultaneously may cause port conflicts or interference, which can also prevent the software from connecting successfully.

Once the connection is successful, the software will display the motor's version information, and all parameter setting buttons will become available.
Finding Hidden Parameters
As shown in the image below, open the parameter list and double-click the area indicated by the arrow. Repeat this operation several times to reveal the hidden parameters in the dark-colored area.
Important: Do not modify hidden parameters without authorization. These parameters should only be changed under the guidance of official technical support. Incorrect modifications may cause the motor to malfunction or generate errors.
