The "Position Error" alarm is the drive's following error alarm. For T Series closed-loop drives, when this alarm is triggered, the red indicator LED on the drive flashes rapidly 7 times. The alarm is generated when the deviation between the position feedback received from the encoder and the target position commanded to the drive exceeds a preset threshold.

In simple terms, the drive detects a significant discrepancy between the encoder feedback and the commanded position. For most standard applications, the default sensitivity of this alarm is appropriate, with a default threshold of 4000 CRP (Counts per Revolution Pulse).

If your application requires higher precision, you can adjust the alarm threshold to make the following error detection more sensitive. This adjustment is performed through the configuration software:

After making changes, click Save and restart the drive.

Recommendation: When adjusting the threshold, decrease the value gradually. If the threshold is set too low, even minor acceleration fluctuations may trigger the alarm. Determine the optimal value incrementally through testing under your specific operating conditions.
