The standard power supply voltage range for the A6 series servo drive is AC 200–240V, as indicated on the product label:

This makes the A6 series well-suited for regions with a nominal mains voltage of AC 220–240V. However, for regions such as the Americas, where the standard single-phase supply is typically AC 120V, please note: You cannot directly power the A6 servo drive from an AC 120V source. Doing so will trigger a fault alarm. The servo drive will not operate at all—not even at reduced performance—because the voltage is below its minimum operating threshold.

If you only have access to an AC 120V supply, STEPPERONLINE recommends the following solution:

Use a step-up transformer to boost the AC 120V supply to AC 220V (within the drive's 200–240V operating range). For example:

(Note: Select a transformer whose VA rating is at least 1.5× the rated power of your servo motor to allow for inrush current and peak loads.)
