A motor bracket is a mechanical component used to support and secure a motor. During normal operation, the high-speed rotation of the motor rotor generates inertial forces. Without a bracket to support and secure the motor, excessive vibration can occur. This can cause excessive noise, accelerate wear, and reduce the motor's service life.

Using the bracket and motor shown below as an example, confirm the following dimensions before selecting a bracket:

  1. The internal width of the bracket must be equal to or greater than the width of the motor body (frame).

  1. The diameter of the motor pilot (centering boss) must not exceed the bore diameter of the bracket.

  1. The bolt circle (distance between mounting holes) of the motor and the bracket must match. The mounting hole diameter of the bracket must be equal to or greater than the mounting hole diameter of the motor.

All brackets currently offered by STEPPERONLINE are designed to match the standard dimensions of stepper motors. The table below is provided for your reference to help you select the appropriate bracket.
